It is called "Train to the Clouds", because at the height where it circulates, clouds can often be seen at his side, under bridges or in the mountainsides. This famous Argentine tourist train makes a journey of 434 miles (round trip) and reaches up to 4,200 meters high, making it one of the highest railways in the world. The train departs from the city of Salta, passes through the valley of Lerma, follows the "Quebrada del Toro" and reach the Puna, ending the trip in the "Viaduct Polvorilla". This photo was taken from a moving vehicle, which was following part of train travel. A fascinating experience. --- Se lo llama "Tren a las Nubes", ya que por la altura donde circula, frecuentemente pueden apreciarse las nubes a su lado, en las laderas montañosas o debajo de los puentes. Este famoso tren turístico argentino hace un recorrido de 434 km (ida y vuelta) y alcanza hasta 4.200 metros de altura, por lo que es uno de los tres ferrocarriles más altos del mundo. Atraviesa magníficos paisajes montañosos de la Cordillera de los Andes. El tren parte de la ciudad de Salta, atraviesa el valle de Lerma, sigue por la "Quebrada del Toro" y llega hasta la Puna, terminando el viaje en el "Viaducto de la Polvorilla". Esta foto fue tomada desde un vehículo en movimiento que estaba siguiendo parte del recorrido del tren. Una fascinante experiencia.
